Dr. Daniel Ryklin is the co-founder of Arizona Pain and Spine Institute. He is one of the few fellowship trained pain physicians in the country with a background in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
A native of Belarus, Dr. Ryklin came to the United States at age 14 to realize his dream of becoming a doctor. After completing his specialty training in Chicago and fellowship training in Berkeley, Dr. Ryklin decided to relocate to the Phoenix area to provide cutting edge, comprehensive pain management. Dr. Ryklin’s areas of expertise include the management of acute and chronic spinal disorders, electrodiagnostic medicine, and musculoskeletal medicine. He believes in a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of chronic pain and encourages his patients to play an active role in managing their condition. Because of his background in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Ryklin is skilled in recognizing biomechanical and functional weaknesses. He frequently utilizes the expertise of yoga instructors and physical therapists to help his patients achieve a more functional and productive life. Received an honorable mention by the Illinois senator during US Congressional proceedings.
